Hand and Orthopedic SurgeryIn addition to his general orthopedic surgery expertise, Donald S. Huene, MD, was the first accredited fellow for the Upper Extremity Fellowship of the Division of Hand Surgery at Stanford University in Stanford, California, in 1995. Dr. Huene shares his advanced specialties in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery with patients of all ages in Reno, Nevada, and the surrounding communities. Dr. Huene is a board-certified physician with added qualification in hand surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. When not at the office, Dr. Huene can be found at the University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine, working as a clinical instructor for orthopedic students.
