We’ve made it our goal to provide patients in this area with a comprehensive and compassionate approach to pain management.

What Services Do We Offer?

At Tahoe Fracture & Orthopedic Medical Clinic, we understand that every patient is different, and that the pain management technique that works for one individual may not work as well for another. This is why we offer a number of services at our pain management facility, including:

  • Epidural injections — This procedure involves injecting a steroid into the area surrounding the spinal cord to reduce inflammation around the affected nerve root, thereby alleviating the resulting pain.
  • Pain pumps — We can implant a pain pump that will automatically deliver medication directly to your spinal cord at certain intervals throughout the day. Administering medication to the area around your spinal cord allows us to block, or at least reduce, the pain signals that are traveling to your brain.
  • Spinal cord stimulation — We can also implant a spinal cord stimulator, which produces mild electrical pulses that interrupt pain signals traveling through your spinal cord toward your brain.

We can also assist you with managing your medications. The experts at our pain management facility will work with you to determine which of our methods is most appropriate for your specific condition.
