“In college, I switched to pre-med for my last two years. I knew I wanted to go into medicine. My father is an orthopedist, and I saw him and some of his partners work. I was fascinated by the surgical procedures.

“I am particularly interested in the complexities and function of the human spine. What I love most is being able to help people with spinal deformities such as scoliosis as well people who have suffered spinal trauma.”
