“I knew by age 12 what I wanted to do. I went with my friend’s dad, an orthopedic surgeon, on a medical mission to Mexico. After watching what this man could accomplish, I was pre-med. In medical school, I worked in other specialties but always came back to orthopedics. Patients get better. I love the gratification of getting them back to a high level of function, doing what they love to do. I also like working with my hands and getting good results – quickly.”
